Dave’s Work

My work has centered on building systems that help people learn, adapt, and perform through change. Across global organizations, financial services, SaaS, technology adoption, political campaigns, and community-facing environments, I have focused on turning strategy into practical enablement — creating the structure, tools, training, and operating rhythms teams need to execute.

The examples below highlight some of the larger programs, transformations, and enablement efforts I have helped build or scale.

Enterprise Learning & Development Transformation

Building a Global L&D Function from the Ground Up

Built Chromalox’s first enterprise Learning & Development division from the ground up, creating the foundation for a centralized learning function supporting thousands of employees across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.

The work included designing the global L&D operating model, governance structure, learning intake process, curriculum standards, training-lead network, reporting cadence, LMS architecture, and scalable learning workflows. This created enterprise-wide infrastructure for onboarding, compliance, ERP enablement, technical education, sales enablement, leadership development, and AI-enabled content acceleration.

A key part of the strategy was balancing global consistency with local autonomy, giving business units the flexibility to manage role-specific needs while aligning the organization around shared standards, systems, and learning priorities.

Scaling Advisor Readiness Through the Advisor Institute

Supported and scaled the Advisor Institute as a structured development engine for financial advisor readiness, professional development, certification support, and long-term career growth.

Designed and improved learning programs supporting advisor certification, accreditation, exam preparation, and professional development pathways, including Series 7, Series 66, SIE, and related financial services readiness programs. The work included scalable curricula, assessments, facilitator materials, learner resources, feedback loops, and program improvements designed to increase consistency, learner engagement, and advisor preparedness.

Supported partnerships with CFP education providers, external learning vendors, and university partners to strengthen advisor development, expand credentialing pathways, and improve the overall advisor learning experience.

Financial Services Learning & Advisor Development

SaaS Customer Enablement & Enterprise Adoption

Building Customer Enablement for Enterprise Learning Adoption

Independently stood up a customer enablement program and served as a Center of Excellence and subject matter expert for enterprise adoption of Udemy Business.

Built scalable customer and internal enablement resources across video, podcasting, guides, virtual training, cohort-based learning, course mapping, learner pathways, and strategic adoption planning. The work supported enterprise customers in connecting platform usage to workforce capability, skills development, learner engagement, and measurable customer value.

Served as a consultative enablement partner for more than 10 Fortune 500 customers and 4 Fortune 100 customers, partnering with Customer Success, Sales, Enablement, and enterprise stakeholders to improve onboarding, adoption, engagement, platform utilization, and long-term value realization.

Technology Adoption & Digital Workforce Enablement

Leading Digital Upskilling During Major Workplace Disruption

Led customer enablement and technology adoption across commercial, SMB, enterprise, nonprofit, education, and community audiences during a period of major digital disruption.

During COVID, rapidly pivoted from traditional regional training and community engagement into large-scale virtual upskilling. This included training more than 2,500 employees for a major northern New Jersey healthcare insurance provider on Microsoft 365, Teams, productivity tools, collaboration practices, and digital workflows.

The work supported remote-work readiness, business continuity, customer adoption, digital literacy, license utilization, and workforce transformation across the NY/NJ/CT region. It required close partnership with commercial, education, nonprofit, community, technical, and customer-facing stakeholders to help organizations adapt quickly to a new way of working.

Organized Football Administration, Marketing, & Community

Directing Club Operations, Marketing, & Community Engagement

Supported the Scots-American Athletic Club Soccer Team through a blend of club administration, marketing, organizational coordination, and community-facing engagement. The work involved helping strengthen the club’s visibility, communication, operational structure, and overall presence within the local soccer community.

This experience reflected the same leadership principles that apply across business, campaigns, and workforce development: clear communication, organized systems, stakeholder coordination, team culture, and the ability to bring people together around a shared mission.

Through soccer administration, I gained additional experience supporting team operations, promoting club identity, coordinating across players and community stakeholders, and helping create a more structured and engaging environment for the organization.

Civic Engagement & Campaign Operations/ Strategy

Building Field, Volunteer, & Community Engagement Capability Across Election Cycles

Supported campaign and civic engagement efforts across local, county, state, congressional, senatorial, and presidential election cycles, with work focused on field operations, volunteer coordination, voter outreach, event support, community engagement, and local execution.

These experiences required the ability to organize people quickly, communicate clearly, onboard volunteers, manage fast-moving priorities, support field activity, and execute outreach plans in deadline-driven environments. Campaign work strengthened my ability to mobilize teams, build trust with different communities, and translate strategy into action under pressure.

I intentionally present this work in a nonpartisan way because the transferable value is not about party politics. It is about organizing people, building systems, communicating effectively, and helping teams execute around a mission.
